Insurance Advisors
Position Description:
- Continually update product knowledge, services and customer service processes, as well as all work-related systems
- Attain/retain full client load
- Prospect, identify, qualify and build rapport with households/accounts
- Understand household/account requirements, explaining product and service capabilities & overcome objections
- Prepare, submit and track contracts and other required paperwork
- Responds to customer inquiries by understanding inquiry; reviewing previous inquiries and responses; gathering and researching information; assembling and forwarding information; verifying customer’s understanding of information and answer
- Records customer inquiries by documenting inquiry and response in customers’ accounts
- Schedule appointments for self and/or others
- Make sales presentations
- Conduct/Assist in community events
- Actively participate in networking events
- Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from households/accounts
- Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled
- Work independently and as a team to achieve individual and team goals
- Help maintain company policy and internal culture
- Assists all staff as needed
- Maintains quality service by monitoring standards; advising supervisor of potential problems
- Resolves complaints by investigating issues and composing responses; referring non-standard complaints and potential lawsuits to the companies security/management team.
- Accomplishes customer service and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed
- Comply with all governmental regulations (HIPAA, PHI, etc.)
Starting Salary: $40,000 – $43,000 starting annual salary + bonuses & incentives
Career Level Required: Some experience in sales and customer service, insurance related preferred
Experience Desired: 1+ years
Minimum Education Required: High School or equivalent
